When you apply for an internship, you have to send your CV (Curriculum Vitae) or your resume to the companies you prefer working as an intern. Therefore, before searching for organizations, you must have to create your CV or resume.

What is a CV?

A CV is a more comprehensive document that can be laid out over two or more pages. It can contain your academic details, accomplishments in life, educational achievements etc.

What is a resume?

A resume is a concise document that is no longer than one page or a maximum of two pages. It includes at least three sections. They are name, contact information, education, and working experience.

What is the difference between CV and resume?

The difference between a resume and a CV is the way the information is presented.

A resume is a brief summary of your skills and experience and a CV is a more detailed document. The main difference between them is, a CV is intended to be a full record of your career history and a resume is a brief, targeted list of skills and achievements.

For an internship, organizations ask for a CV, not a resume. Therefore you need to make a good CV, otherwise, you won’t get the internship in your dreams, you won’t be shortlisted for the interview list. It can overwhelmingly affect you for not being able to get an internship at your dream organization.
